Tsallis and Kaniadakis Gaussian functions applied to the analysis of the Raman spectrum of diamond
Description
Previous studies (Sparavigna, 2023) have demonstrated the Tsallis q-Gaussian functions suitable for the analysis of Raman spectra. Besides the q-Gaussian, another generalized Gaussian form can be investigated for Raman spectroscopy; it is the Kaniadakis κ-Gaussian probability density function, which contains the κ-exponential. Here, we consider both q- and the κ-Gaussians for fit onto the Raman spectrum of diamond. In the case of diamond, some fit examples obtained with the Kaniadakis exponents are providing a better result.
