Kalman filters for radio astronomy

Kalman filters are used, among other applications, to predict a signal from noisy measurements. In this paper, Kalman filters are applied to data collected by radio telescopes. The performance and the outputs are compared to other techniques like Fourier transform analysis, to test their suitability to astronomy applications.
