The research paper is made an attempt to explain about the Kadamba Queen Akkadevi as depicted in the inscriptions. Good number of constructional works and that they held high respect by society at the time. She offered a grant to Perur Agrahara and caused to be constructed there a hall and 500 elders of that Agrahara give lands and gardens for the purpose of feeding and clothing the students, she playing a prominent part on the political arena. She proved that she was only entitled and well qualified to enjoy all political privileges. Akkadevi made clear that she was a great personality with remarkable administrative ability.
