Distribution. Central Palaearctic, aride. Volga regions (Middle Volga, Volga–Don, Lower Volga regions), East Caucasian region, S Urals, south of West Siberia, Altai, Tuva, Irkutskaya Oblast, Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Kray. Outside Russia in Transcaucasia, Middle Asia, E Mediterranean, Turkey, Central Asia, Mongolia, N India, N Iran, N Afghanistan, N China.
Hostplants: xerophilous Brassicaceae, Taraxacum (Hausmann 2004).
