Outside Russia in Europe, E Kazakhstan, Mongolia, N, NE and NW China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu Isl.).

Hostplants: different dicotyledonous herbs: Polygonum, Clematis, Solidago, Artemisia, Achillea, Plantago, Stellaria, Vicia, Cytisus (Beljaev 2016).
