Advancing Open Access to Scholarly Publishing Journals: Increasing DOAJ's Coverage in Northern African Countries

This webinar hosted by the Forum for Open Research in MENA (F.O.R.M.) in collaboration with the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) aimed to:

• Offer an expert overview of the open-access publishing landscape in Northern Africa, and identify some of the key challenges faced by open-access journals in the region – and the solutions to these problems.
• Explore how DOAJ can help to increase the impact of their journals (and thereby contribute to healthy submission pipelines and greater future indexing potential)
• Guide participants on how to prepare their journals for submission to DOAJ, and maximise their chances of acceptance into the index.
