Relevance of the research topic. The study of the optimization of managerial decisions in the project
management of innovatively oriented enterprises in the service sector in the conditions of digitalization
and security challenges is determined by the urgency of making quick and adequate decisions in wartime.
Formulation of the problem. Any type of management is based on an adequate concept of
project management, i.e. a system of ideas, principles, ideas that determine the goal of successive
directed actions, mechanisms of interaction of subjects and objects of management, the nature of
the relationship of individual links of the internal structure of the enterprise and the optimization of
management decisions according to the specifically necessary degree of consideration of explicit
influences on the dynamics of project development, which in the conditions of security management
and changes in logistics determines the relevance of the research topic.
Setting the purpose and objectives of the study – to investigate the optimization of managerial
decisions in the project management of innovatively oriented enterprises in the service sector in the
conditions of digitalization and security challenges.
Research method or methodology. The article uses the following methods: monographic, graphic,
analysis and synthesis, systematization.
Presentation of the main material (research results). The essence and classification of
projects are clarified, the mechanism of formation and implementation of the development of project
management of innovatively oriented enterprises in the service sector is examined in detail. It was
revealed that project management is a field of managerial activity, which consists in the implementation
of promising enterprise projects through the implementation of organizational changes.
Field of application of results. Current research results can be used in the practical activities of
innovatively oriented enterprises in the service sector.
Conclusions on the article. Project management acts as a process by which innovation–oriented
enterprises in the service sector interact with their environment. Implementation of the concept of
strategic project management at enterprises in the service sector involves the organization and
implementation of professional activities in strategic project analysis, development, implementation
and control of project management aimed at achieving the goals of their operation.
