Description

Siphonophora crassirostrata (Loomis, 1975a: 183)

Holotype: 1 ♂. HOLOTYPE ♂/ PARATYPE 3♂, 3♀ / DIPLOPODA / SIPHONOPHORIDAE / Siphonocybe crassirostrata / Loomis/ det. H. F. Loomis, 1975/ JAMAICA: Middlesex, Saint/ Ann Parish, S. of Moneague/ Mt. Diablo/ 28-XII-1973 / S. & J. Peck // Siphonocybe crassirostrata / Loomis, Holotype ♂ 3♂. 3♀ // [barcode label] FSCA 00070680.

Conservation status: Good condition; in 75% EtOH.

Additional notes: Paratypes 3♂♂ and 3♀♀ in vial; same location data; FSCA 00070689– FSCA 00070694; Originally described as Siphonocybe crassirostrata Loomis, 1975, and subsequently given the new combination Siphonophora crassirostrata (Loomis, 1975) by Jeekel (2001).
