Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation: Experiences and Lessons. Workshop Proceedings.

The International Workshop on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PM & E): Experiences and Lessons was a meeting of field practitioners who came to share experiences; identify trends, gaps, issues and priority action to promote and enhance PM & E practice. Participants came from all regions of the world and represented governments, donors, non‑government organizations, research institutions and community‑based organizations.

The workshop did not seek to give a comprehensive state‑of‑the‑art in the practice of PM & E nor an exhaustive discussion of all its affiliated issues. The workshop was part of a three‑stage process to facilitate sharing of field experiences and consolidated lessons that would guide the future practice of PM & E.
