R-code for calculation of spatial pattern indicators and supplementary data as presented in the accompanying paper “Settlement and infrastructure patterns influence energy use and CO2 emissions almost as much as economic activity”. See the Zenodo-dataset 10.5281/zenodo.5876941 for the resulting datasets on global patterns of settlements and infrastructures. See the DESCRIPTION.txt for required input data and system requirements (R-version and used R-packages etc.).
