Археологічні дослідження на Україні (1917-1957). Огляд вивчення археологічних пам'яток

In the book, the author attempts to provide a brief overview of the main archaeological sites explored on the territory of Ukraine during the years of Soviet rule (1917-1957). The overview of monuments is presented in their historical-chronological sequence, starting from the oldest, regardless of the years of research. The survey of archaeological monuments opens with brief general characteristics of the relevant historical eras. At the end of the book, a bibliography of scientific literature on the archeology of Ukraine, published in the USSR over the past 40 years, is presented. It will help everyone who is interested in the study of the ancient history of Ukraine to get acquainted with the scope of scientific research in this field of historical science and with the nature of its archeological primary sources. The author does not consider his work to be exhaustive and hopes that it will initiate a number of new scientific works by archaeologists to highlight the results of the study of archaeological monuments on the territory of Ukraine.
