Description

Kempioconcha cf. subolivacea (Smith, 1890)

Fig. 24 A single shell found inland is about the same size but not as widely conical with straight outlines as in the original description of Buliminus olivaceus J.S. Gibbons in Taylor 1877 preoccupied: 253, pl. 2, fig. 5; (19.35× 7.92 mm) from “Bawri Island, Zanzibar, Channel”. Differs from the following species by the proportionally higher shell with much smaller apical whorls.
