Megninia analgoides.— Radford 1953: 206, 1958: 155.

Host and locality in Australia: Petraeca leggi, northern Australia, Malurus melanocephalus, Queensland (Bonnet 1924a).

Current name of host: Scarlet Robin, Petroica boodang leggi Sharpe, 1879 (Passeriformes: Petroicidae); Redbacked Fairywren, Malurus melanocephalus (Latham, 1801) (Passeriformes: Maluridae).

Notes: Bonnet’s host record of “ Petraeca leggi ” in northern Australia is not consistent with the distribution of Petroica boodang leggi in Tasmania.
