ORIGINALLY INCLUDED SPECIES: Benigramma bellanda Lehrer, 2013.

TYPE SPECIES: Benigramma bellanda Lehrer, 2013, by original designation.

CURRENT STATUS: Thelairosoma Villeneuve, 1916, syn. nov.

FAMILY: Tachinidae.

REMARKS: The goniine genus Thelairosoma is a widespread Afrotropical endemic and was catalogued by O’Hara & Cerretti (2016) with 24 described species.
