Description

Caprainea marginata (Schött, 1893)

Sminthurus marginatus Sch ̂tt, 1893: 25.

MAZ: Yahyapour & Shayanmehr 2011; Mehrafrooz Mayvan et al. 2015a; KS: Kahrarian et al. 2012; NK: Mehrafrooz Mayvan et al. 2021.

Ecology and habitat in Iran: forest soil.

Remarks: Kahrarian et al. 2012 reported this species as Sminthurus marginatus Sch ̂tt, 1893 but, the generic name of this species was changed to Caprainea.

General distribution: Palaearctic (Fjellberg 2007).
