Ecology and habitat in Iran: soil and litter under trees such as black alder, oriental beech (Fagus orientalis), date-plum (Diospyrus lotus), Persian silk tree (Albizia julibrissin), oak and maple (Acer cappadocicum).
General distribution: cosmopolitan (Papáč & Kováč 2013).
