A mobile BCI Android App for real-time study of continuous EEG brain signals and activity recognition. This Android Application is the basis of a Mobile BCI system for the acquisition of a subjects motor-cortex EEG with an OpenBCI Cyton board which is then coupled with the Android's Activity Recognition API to track when users are still, walking, running, on a bike etc. for labelling of the EEG data and the transmission of the data to the cloud via RabbitMQ where it can be made available to any type of consumer service. This simple, highly-adaptable, open-source, low-cost mobile-BCI system can record real-time data over longer periods in unconstrained environments to be used both in the generation of large labelled datasets by researches for training of BCI Machine Learning algorithms and for real-time testing of these algorithms.
