The Challenge of e-Paper Publishing: New Consumption and New Workflows
Authors/Creators
- 1. Department of ECE, Greater Noida Institute of Technology, Greater Noida
Description
Newspapers publishers must now generate, print, and distribute their contents differently as a result of new publishing technologies like electronic paper (e-paper). In addition to posing technical difficulties for publishers, e-paper will alter how news items are consumed. By assuming a starting point in potential new consumption, we approach the influence of this new channel from the outside-in in this essay. We explore the effects that the e-paper publication channel will have on distribution, systems of media house, such as editorial, advertising, and subscription, and workflows based on three empirically supported future consuming scenarios.
