The ICSSR-Sponsored International Conference on "Information Infrastructure of Social Science Research in India (IISSRI-2023) was held on 2-3 March 2023 in Kolkata, India, organized by the Institute of Development Studies Kolkata (IDSK). The conference aimed to explore the challenges and opportunities related to information infrastructure for social science research in India. Eminent academics, scholars, and information professionals from India and abroad participated in the offline conference, which consisted of plenary and technical sessions, covering a wide range of topics related to social science research and information infrastructure in India.
