Foreword to the Selected Essays

In this brief foreword, Dr. Storm Bailey introduces some of the basic ideas put forward by Charles W. Mills in his The Racial Contract. Dr. Bailey also provides the origin of the following six essays published in the set for which he has written this foreword.
