Here we provided complete and verified spatial data for Amphibians of Iran; 22 species in 13 genera belonging to 7 families and 2 orders.

  • Species: "Bufo eichwaldi", "Bufotes oblongus", "Bufotes perrini", "Bufotes sitibundus", "Calliopersa luristanica", "Calliopersa surda", "Firouzophrynus olivaceus", "Firouzophrynus stomaticus", "Pelobates syriacus", "Euphlyctis adolfi", "Hyla orientalis", "Hyla savignyi", "Pelophylax bedriagae", "Pelophylax persicus", "Rana macrocnemis", "Rana pseudodalmatina", "Paradactylodon persicus", "Neurergus crocatus", "Neurergus derjugini", "Neurergus kaiseri", "Triturus karelinii", "Salamandra infraimmaculata".

  1. Occurrences_png.zip: maps of all verified occurrences per species in png format
  2. Occurrences_shp.zip: spatial layers of all verified occurrences per species in shapefile point format
  3. SDMs_png.zip: maps of the distribution models per species in png format
  4. SDM_grd.zip: spatial layers of the modelled distribution per species in raster grid format
    • [...]_sdm_full.grd: mean of 30 iterations of SDMs per species
    • [...]_sdm_full_sd.grd: standard deviation of 30 iterations of SDMs per species
    • [...]_sdm_full_sc.grd: mean of 30 iterations of SDMs per species, normalized from 0 to 1
    • [...]_sdm_full_binary.grd: binary map per species based on the mean of 30 iterations of SDMs and "maximum test sensitivity plus specificity" threshold.
  5. SDM_csv.zip: performance measures of the SDMs per species in csv format
  6. Hotspots_png.zip: maps of richness, and rarity of amphibians of Iran in png format
  7. Hotspots_grd.zip: spatial layers of richness, and rarity of amphibians of Iran in grid format
  8. IUCN_png.zip: maps of suitable habitat extents (SHE), area of occupancy (AOO), and the AOO of each species covered by the protected areas (PAN) according to IUCN criteria in png format.
  9. IUCN_csv.zip: area of the suitable habitat extents (SHE), area of occupancy (AOO), and the AOO of each species covered by the protected areas (PAN) according to IUCN criteria in csv format
