Thermal Analysis on Ethylene Glycol Water Flowing through a Pipe using Nanoparticles

  • 1. Department of Mechanical Engineering, Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada, India

Description

This experimental work indicates the analysis conducted to investigate the performance, Rate of heat transfer using pure water and ethylene glycol. The Al2O3 (Aluminium Oxide), Tio2 (Titanium dioxide) Nano-sized solid particles also will be introduced in the next stage of experimental analysis into a constant temperature-surfaced hollow tube condenser. First, Analysis done by the water and baseline data is generated. Later in the second stage Ethylene glycol is replaced with water, and in the third stage Ethylene glycol and nanoparticles mixture are used finally, the comparison with first stage results of water has done on the ANSYS software.
