Type locality: Hatsuno, Amami-oshima, Ryukyu, Japan.

Distribution. Indian records: Nilgiris (Gudalur) (Inoue & Yamanaka 2006). Global records: Japan (exclusive of Hokkaido), Taiwan, Nepal, Philippines, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi (Inoue & Yamanaka 2006).
