This article focuses on the aphoristic terminology adopted in these countries, noting that the terms “English aphorism” and “American aphorism” lack clear contours and that there is no solid theoretical work in this direction, except that currently in both countries it is noted that there are almost no separate books of aphorisms, and also that there are few scientific works on aphorisms, but the work on creating collections of aphorisms is well underway.
