Description

The report presents 11 Blueprints that provide an overview of multi-use developments worldwide. These blueprints were selected from 28 multi-use solutions identified by MULTI-FRAME partners during the project. The report used an exploratory and pragmatic approach to analyze available data, literature, and empirical knowledge to provide a snapshot of multi-use diversity in different environments and regions of the world. The blueprints not only involve different marine uses but also a wide range of functional, spatial, governance, and temporal relationships between activities. Six of the cases are located in Europe, where multi-use was coined, three in North America, and one in South America.
