Literature review: beyond-CMOS technologies
Description
This section is a discussion of the very comprehensive (over a thousand references) report on the topic, the IEEE International Roadmap for Devices and Systems (IRDS) 2021 Edition1 https://irds.ieee.org/editions/2021, Beyond CMOS [das2021beyond]. The report looked at many aspects of post-CMOS technologies but there is not mention at all of the key issues related to sustainability of future computing devices. Additional sources are referenced explicitly.
