Description

These decision trees are a supplement to the Guidebook "Making Qualitative Data Reusable" version 3.0 available at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.8319060.

The guidebook aims to give an overview of the challenges associated with making qualitative data reusable as well as providing guidance on how reusability can be improved and addressed at all stages of the research data life cycle.

The decision trees can be used by researchers and data stewards to evaluate the options for making qualitative data reusable that are most suited for their projects.

The decision trees each focus on a specific aspect of the data:

A) mitigating risks in case of sensitive data

B) Complying with legal obligations

C) Protecting personal data
