Description
This code was used to generate the figures in
Bell, M. J., A. J. G. Nurser and D. Storkey (2023) Interpretation of net surface heat fluxes and Meridional Overturning Circulations in global coupled UK-HadGEM3 climate simulations. JPO, DOI: https://doi.org/10.1175/JPO-D-22-0073
The "scripts" dataset includes the python scripts and ksh linux scripts used to process the data and generate the panels of the figures. The panels of the figures for potential temperature classes are also included in this data set.
The "data" dataset includes 1 month of data (Jan 2000) for the LL model; and all the data used in the paper from the LL and MM models in (classes, latitude) space for the period 2000-2009 .
