Description

With the help of open source knowledge representation languages, this session aimed to highlight how essential data and information structuring became for fast retrieval and research optimization. Removing ambiguities, efficient information ordering, structuring into taxonomies, and connecting them into ontologies and knowledge graphs have all been made possible thanks to the evolution of artificial intelligence-based systems. Dr Silvia Tomescu demonstrated, using examples and case studies, how knowledge representation languages can organize and improve the information environment.
