FIGURE 6. A and C: Fusigobius humerosus sp. nov., PMR VP5271, paratype, male, 26.2 + 7.3 mm, northern side of Farasan Island, Saudi Arabia, Red Sea. B and D: F. humeralis, BPBM 36627, paratype, female, 29.5 + 7.8 mm, Manuk Island, Banda Sea, Indonesia. Humeral region just above base of pectoral fin. A: round black spot is smaller than or equal to pupil in F. humerosus sp. nov., B: dark spot larger than pupil in F. humeralis; midbase of caudal fin: C: oval black spot covers less than 1/3 of caudal base height in F. humerosus sp. nov., D: irregular spot at midbase of caudal fin larger than 1/3 of caudal base height in F. humeralis.
