Two-phase modelling of CO2 droplet plumes

The objective is to develop a three dimensional time dependent two-phase model of droplets in a carrying fluid, and to use the model to study droplet plumes generated by injecting CO₂ into the ocean. The experiments indicate that droplet size is a crucial parameter to determine the rising distance of the droplet plume. If the objective is to increase fluid density to promote sinking, the CO₂ should be injected with small droplet radius and weak background current.
