Description
Ancylosis leucocephala (Staudinger, 1879)
Material examined. Russia: 2 ♁, Sarykum, 4.v.2022.
Remarks. The species was also observed near Tarumovka (16.vi.2022). In Dagestan, it inhabits plains, occurring in dry steppe and semi-desert habitats.
Distribution. Romania, Russia (Lower Volga, South Urals and Dagestan), Central Asia, Mongolia, Northwest China (Plant & Jakšić 2018; Bidzilya et al. 2020; Sinev & Korb 2022).
