Metasia gigantalis Staudinger, 1871

Material examined. Kermânshâh Prov.: 1 Ô, 5 km E Kangâvar, 1500 m, 29.vi.1972, Mirzâyâns, Abâi leg. (gen. prep. HA-2703, HMIM).

Distribution. Greece including Crete, Cyprus (Slamka 2013).

Remarks. This species is newly reported for the fauna of Iran.
