SYNTHESIS OF ARTS: HISTORICAL AND THEORETICAL BASICS

The article highlights the theoretical and historical features of the synthesis of arts. Based on the application of a wide range of methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization, historical-genetic), the scientific opinion of scientists regarding the interpretation of the concept of "synthesis of arts" is considered, the stages of art development and leading forms of art synthesis are presented. The Attention is focused on the features of the synthesis of art in the period of romanticism and symbolism, as well as some aspects of its development and possible ways of combining it in today’s conditions are presented.
