A reflection on the importance of sustainable design for the environment.

This article qualitatively and quantitatively analyzes consumer behavior, environmental impacts and presents the main characteristics of Social Design, Eco Design and Sustainable Design, their guidelines and the relationship between them. It seeks to cause designers to reflect and show them alternative ways to carry out their projects in a way that preserves the environmental balance.
