PATHOGENETIC RELATION AND THE ROLE OF HEREDITY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND GUILLAIN-BARRE SYNDROME
Authors/Creators
Description
This article discusses the problem of the possibility of a connection between two demyelinating polyneuropathies – Guillain-Barré syndrome and multiple sclerosis. The study used methods of analysis of scientific literature on relevant topics. General information on the pathogenesis of each pathology is given. Also, options for the relationship through Fc-gamma receptors, previous infections – EBV and H. Pylori, as well as the level and qualitative composition of CSF are considered. The information is summarized and a conclusion is formed about the truly non-random occurrence of GBS and PC in one person.
