D6.5 Sustainability Plan

This deliverable describes the ARIADNEplus project sustainability plan.

Firstly, it examines the nature and requirements of the services provided by the project and describes the possible scenarios after the end of the funded period. It indicates that even if the Catalogue and the Portal may continue working, no action will cause the rapid obsolescence of the ARIADNE Catalogue.

Then it describes the situation at the end of the funded period and the possible scenarios for the provision of the services developed within ARIADNEplus.

Finally, the deliverable describes the actions undertaken by the project to guarantee the continuity of the services, most notably the availability of the ARIADNE Portal and the related search function in the ARIADNE Catalogue. It illustrates how the creation of a legal body, the ARIADNE Research Infrastructure – in brief ARIADNE RI – Association, will guarantee the continuation of the ARIADNEplus services even if no other funding source is secured.
