Description
Genus Randallia Stimpson, 1857
Type species. Ilia ornata Randall, 1840 [Type locality: Upper California].
Remarks. The genus Randallia is essentially amphi-American in distribution, with the exception of Randallia gilberti (Rathbun, 1906) (Hawaii) and Randallia granulata Miers, 1886 (Fiji Islands). Randallia curacaoensis Rathbun, 1922 and R. laevis (Borradaile, 1916) are the only Atlantic species.
