SFRD fit
Description
Data required to produce all the data and Figures in van son et al. 2023, corresponding code can be found here: https://github.com/LiekeVanSon/SFRD_fit.
Fitting the metallicity-dependent cosmic star formation S(Z,z)
- SFRMetallicityFromGasTNG100.hdf5: Is a data file that contains the metallicity per star-forming gas in the TNG100 simulation.
Exploring reasonable variations of S(Z,z)
- Figure5.tar.gz: Contains additional information from other Cosmological simulations (EAGLE, SIMBA, TNG50, Illustris) and observational data (Chruślińska 2019 and 2021)
Mass Distribution plots
- o3only_mass_c_iid_mag_iid_tilt_powerlaw_redshift_mass_data.h5: Is needed to plot the primary mass distribution as derived by the LVK, and is taken directly from here. It is only included in this Zenodo box to make life a little easier for anyone reproducing the plots in this work :)
- COMPAS_Output_wWeights.tar.gz: Is a compact and stripped-down-to-the-essentials version of the simulation data from van Son et al. 2022 (simulation behind Fig 1. of that work)
- Rate_info.h5 : contains all the BBH merger rates for the 13 variations of the metallicity-dependent star formation, S(Z,z) explored in this work.
