Description

Omorgus (Omorgus) birmanicus (Arrow, 1927)

Trox birmanicus Arrow, 1927: 467 (original description).

Trox birmanicus: Haaf (1954a): 389 (diagnosis, illustration, key).

Trox (Omorgus) birmanicus: Scholtz (1982): 8 (catalogue).

Omorgus (Omorgus) birmanicus: Zidek (2013): 7, 20 (checklist); Zidek (2017): 98, 112 (checklist).

Type locality. “Lr.[Lower] Burma, Prome [Pyay] [= Myanmar]”.

Type depository. Lectotype (male) and two paralectotypes at NHMUK.

Distribution. Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam (Arrow 1927; Schoolmeesters 2022).
