movedesign is a user-friendly Shiny application that assists researchers during experimental design portion of animal tracking projects. This application can be used to assess the precision of three estimations commonly reported in movement and spatial ecology studies (home range area, speed, and distance traveled) and to chose the optimal sampling design strategy for each (or both) research question(s).
