Description
This folder contains the policy database belonging to the publication "Building a Database for Energy Sufficiency Policies" (https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.108822.2).
Version 1.0 of the database is replacing our initial version 0.1 from January 2022 of the sufficiency policy database. We made the following changes and revisions:
- We revised the structure (wording) of the columns policy strategy / measure-action and policy instrument to have a more logical cascade per sector
- We merged the sectors "agri-food" and "LULUCF" to "Land-use & food" and distributed the policies of the (very small) “energy” sector to the sectors they belong to
- We inserted new policies and literature sources
- We revised the wording of some policies and descriptions for better understandability
- We corrected instrument types and source pages / URLs
- We deleted a policy which was included twice and deleted 30 policies in the building sector because they contained too little sufficiency
- We specified the name as "Energy Sufficiency Policy Database"
