Suffixaufnahme and agreement in Australian languages

 Suffixaufnahme and multiple case marking in Australian languages have been discussed in several papers. In this paper possessive noun phrases and noun phrases with adjectives or demonstratives are compared. In most of the languages considered the same construction is used but there are some exceptions. This observation leads back to the question if genitive marked nouns are derived adjectives. Some Australian languages do not support a conjecture of Moravcsik.
