How fast is fast enough? Industry Perspectives on the Use of Large- eddy Simulation in Wind Energy - Survey results

Results from a survey among industry experts about the use of large-eddy simulation (LES) in wind energy. The survey was conducted online between October 10 and December 7, 2022 with a total of 48 respondents.

Results and Discussions of the survey are presented at the Wake Conference 2023 (Visby, Sweden) and published in the proceedings of the conference.

Note that personal data left in the comment section by some of the respondents has been removed from the results.

The raw results as exported from Google Forms is found results_dec2.csv. Post-processing and plotting can be done with survey_results.py. Questionnaire.pdf is a print of the original survey.
