Crossopsora piperis Berndt, F.O. Freire & C.N. Bastos, Mycotaxon 83: 266. 2002. Type on Piper hostmannianum (Miq.) C.DC., Marituba, Pará State, Brazil, 10.V.2001, C.N. Bastos s.n. (?/?, IIse, III).

Carvalho Junior 56/17 (RB 757141); 22.III.2017, II, III, 75/17 (RB 757171); on Piperaceae – Piper malacophyllum (C.Presl) C.DC., 20.III.2017, II, 07/17 (RB 757126).
COMMENTS— Piper malacophyllum is recorded as new host species of C. piperis.
