This repository contains source data and processed data accompanied with the paper:

"Distinct mobility patterns of BRCA2 molecules at DNA damage sites"

The repository contains the following files:

- Movies: This folder contains the movies that were used for 3D single-molecule tracking. As described in the methods section of the paper, each movie consists of a 3D stack of 9 image planes that were registered using fluorescence beads from the original data.

- Trajectories: These CSV files contain the results of 3D tracking using the Mosaic tracking plugin in ImageJ. Traj_* contains the tracking results where the column inMask column indicates whether a localization is inside the DNA damage mask.  Traj_transformed_[1-3]_* contains the corresponding tracking data in which the mask was transformed, which was used as a control in the paper.

- segment files: The data that was used in the subsequent R scripts.

- segs_nest.Rdata is the same data as the segment files but in Rdata file format, to be imported in R
