Apprentissages informels des adultes, en bibliothèque publique : entre forme scolaire et éducation populaire

In this presentation, we mobilize the concepts of schooling form, popular education and informal learning to have a renewed vision of adults learning in the context of public libraries. Then, we confront this conceptual frame with exploratory empirical data collected in French public libraries through some individuals’ narratives. The first findings give some perspectives to widen adult education and learning.
