Abstract

Alukurumba people live only in the Western Ghats of Nilgiri district. There are only about 1500 people of this race. Their language is on the endangered list. Linguists state that the language of these people is a dialect of Kannada. They are speaking Alukrumbar language in their house. Linguists have mentioned only a few elements about language in the absence of written case in their books. It is said that when man appeared, language also appeared. The purpose of this article is to analyze and explain the names of the victims in the language of Alukuramba.
