Description
Studies to identify the level of biological activity in soil residential areas of Baku were conducted on key parameters: the number of microorganisms and activities of enzymes: catalase, polyphenol oxidase, urease, invertase and dehidrogenase. It was found out that the changes in the indices of biological activity were seasonal. Urbanized soil territories of Baku in residential areas are characterized by increased microbial activity due to lower enzyme activities.
