Description
Neonatologist performed lung ultrasound (NPLUS) is a tool for dynamic assessment
of lung diseases and diseases with lung involvement and can be used for visualization
during various procedures and interventions. The interpretation of findings in lung
ultrasound can only be made taking into account the current clinical situation and
patient history. Only then, appropriate treatment can be initiated or continued.
It is a simple examination technique that, when used correctly and with knowledge of
its limitations, can provide rapid answers to specific questions.
